Norman L. Markman received his B.S. from Beloit College and his LL.B. from Harvard University. Before starting his law practice, Mr. Markman was the vice president and trust officer of the Colorado National Bank of Denver (now U. S. Bank) in charge of estate and trust administration.

     Mr. Markman served as chairman of the Colorado Bar Association Uniform Probate Code Committee, which helped to draft the Colorado Probate Code, as chairman (twice) of the Colorado Supreme Court Committee on Probate Rules and Forms, as chairman of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, and as president of both the Centennial and Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Councils.  He is a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has written articles concerning probate law for The Colorado Lawyer and lectured at legal seminars.

    Mr. Markman's practice includes wills, trusts, estate planning, and estate and trust administration.
